Reuters is hosting an online live interview with IMF Managing Director Dominique Strauss-Kahn on Thursday, Noon EST. They are asking for questions from my readers. You can do it through the various media, including Twitter. I pre-submitted my question:
On June 8, 2010 you said in reference to the European debt crises, “the problem has been contained.” It is obvious to the bond and currency markets that the problem is far from being contained. The markets are betting that we will see sovereign defaults. What evidence led you to say that and why did your policy fail?
Nice one. And let’s all guess what type of questions he’s not going to answer….
