From an interview of Bill Gates on ABC’s “This Week” show, when asked about the “Buffet Rule” that the rich should pay more in taxes:
“Yes, I’m generally in favor of the idea that the rich should pay somewhat more, but to really deal with the deficit gap we’re talking about, that alone, just numerically, is not going to be enough.”
Why doesn’t he just do it instead of waiting for the Feds to make him? Ditto with his buddy Warren Buffet. In fairness to Gates he doesn’t think we can balance the budget on the backs of the rich. He also advocates more foreign aid to poor countries.
Shows what happens when foolish elites speak their mindless drivel.
