This video is emblematic of why Greece will fail as a member of the eurozone. Now that the benefits have been taken away from the public, the response has been riots and discord. While one could dismiss this smack down as an anomaly, I think it has some significance and answers the question of why Greece will withdraw from the eurozone, print drachmas in quantity, experience massive inflation, and end up with another military junta running the country. There is no “solution” to Greece. German workers don’t want to pay for Greece’s problems, and the Greeks seem unwilling to accept the fact that they have run out of other people’s money.
