Will This Ad Defeat Obama?

This anti-Obama ad is from the Republican National Committee. I thought it was the best ad I’ve seen so far from the Republicans. I would like to know what my readers think about it. As readers may know, I am not pro-Romney but I am anti-Obama. My belief is that Obamacare will be a crushing blow to our health care system as well as to our long-term economic prospects. Other than the fact he’s a welfare statist-socialist, he’s a heck of a guy. Do you think this will be effective? If you like it give it a thumbs up on G+ or hit the Like button, below, or comment. Ideas are welcome.

It is reality. As Americans we don’t need anymore lies, we can handle the truth.

that one has been playing for weeks in my area, and i agree, it’s excellent. but it has been very ineffective, the polling has gotten worse since it came out. the public is too stupid, there are too many takers in current day America, the tippping point has been past and i believe it will be proven on Election Day.

i disagree with Sam, i do not think Americans can handle the truth, at least not the majority.

“it’s okay to make a change”. Should have been followed by “we hope you do,”

The ad itself is okay, but Newsbisters has a clip of Erskine Bowles just gushing all over Ryan’s intellect and budget skills while dismissing Obama. THAT would make a good ad.

Now all they have to do is explain how Romney is an actual change.

  • I think it comes down to the evil you know is better than the unknown. Romney has to show that the change will benefit Americans. No one is happy with Obama, but Romney needs to show he has the plan. I also think many people mistrust Romney for being a 1%er who will say anything to get elected. He inspires no one.

It was a good ad though.

Voting for Obama is the quickest way over the cliff. Romney and Ryan may still drive us over the cliff, maybe 10 seconds after Obama would get the job done. All of them are statists (beleive in Government’s Heavy Hand), but only ONE is a Marxist (truely the wrong direction). I think that these guys (excluding Obama, as it isn’t part of his intellect) need to understand that we need less of everything that Government provides (and they need less of OUR Money), and that getting these “regulators”, “lawyers” and “tax accountants” to find new “productive” occupations may be wishful thinking at best. Everything the Government does results in higher costs in the aggregate, without a net “positive” benefit. A society can not exist when the public can vote themselves “welfare” (I’m also including Companies in Welfare). The real question is, what will America look like in 5, 10, 20 years? My instincts tell me that we need a “productive” society, and a society where the “professions” which do not add materially to existance are discouraged. Our society is profligated with everyone attempting to make a “quick buck” without materially making anything, or really doing anything. (Lawyers, Accountants, Financial Experts, and Paper Pushers of all types …. the list is extensive). We also need an “easy to calculate tax system” which does away with the wasteful energy and money expended.

Another approach that those of us in the conservative minority living in Chicago/Illinois would certainly agree as poignant would be a highlight reel of the political culture and landscape from which Obama was weaned…I hate that my vote in November is wasted in a state and city whose mass populous expects government program handouts while those of us PRODUCING pay for it with higher city and state taxes. You wouldn’t have to go far to see how well that’s working…Illinois budget deficit is worst in the nation.
